About Claro Cones
Unique, Hand Crafted
Strips of unbleached 100% cotton dipped into a mixture of beeswax and herbs, oils or extracts. The strips are hand rolled spirally, dripped and left to harden. Our ear cones are then scraped, trimmed and plastic wrapped as pairs with skewers and instructions.
Note: If you would like more environmentally conscientious packaging, we now offer a plastic free option (when ordering the 10 pack (5 pairs). All of the same scented cones will be wrapped in paper with only 1 instruction tri-fold.
Our story
Claro Coning Systems, LLC was originally purchased by sisters Leah Buysse and Anna Boelman in July of 2012 after learning the previous owner was relocating her family and discontinuing production of her handcrafted ear cones. In 2017, Leah became sole owner of Claro so that Anna could purchase the family natural food store, Simple Abundance.
Alternative health products and therapies were common ground to Leah growing up in the picturesque river town of Red Wing, MN. It was a lifestyle and passion she would continue to nurture through various avenues over the years.
Leah completed her Holistic Health Practice Degree in 2005 and has been consulting since then. Through her business, Intuitive Self Healing, she writes intuitive, personalized lifestyle programs for clients, helps with detoxification processes, trauma healing, Sound & Vibrational work, Reiki sessions and has now added hand crafting ear cones to the resume in her spare time.
